Having missed the Lumo stakeholder train to Edinburgh the previous week, on account of needing to isolate due to COVID, I was delighted to be invited to the formal opening of Lumo’s Newcastle offices and the graduation of Lumo’s apprentice train drivers who had just completed their training. It was nice to meet Lumo MD Helen Wylde as well as some of the men and women who will be driving the trains on which I hope to have an opportunity to travel shortly.
