It was great to be part of a good crowd of people today on the platform at Bedlington, to welcome the first passenger train for 62 years. I joined the train along with SENRUG Deputy Chair Andrew Carmichael and we both went up to Ashington and back. Looking forward to the formal opening ceremony tomorrow.
