It was great to catch up with Cllr Richard Wearmouth, Deputy Leader of the Council, and Stuart McNaughton, Head of Strategic Transport at earlier today at County Hall. Mainly we talked about extending the Northumberland Line to Newbiggin, but also other issues on the SENRUG “Quick Wins” and “Short Term” list such as the Morpeth – Bedlington link. Excellent and productive time, as always.
