It was a busy day today as we welcomed Stuart Jones, Managing Director of Lumo, Hull Trains and First Rail Open Access to our public meeting at Morpeth. It was an interesting and informative meeting with a lively question and answer time afterwards, and we were grateful for Stuart for taking the time out to be with us. Prior to the meeting I was pleased to make introductions between Stuart and Cllr Wearmouth at County Hall. And then, at the meeting itself, I was pleased to be shown a copy of Rail Magazine including my letter on the winners and losers in the new East Coast Main Line timetable.(that’s issue 1057, page 62 – so please do buy a copy and support Rail)
