I was delighted to be invited to speak to SELRAP at their public meeting at Colne this evening, and they too were interested to hear of our campaign experiences. The Skipton – Colne route is different to the Northumberland Line (as it stands at the moment) since it creates an additional strategic link across the Pennines, connecting Yorkshire to East Lancashire and has significant freight potential too.
