Ashington is of course no stranger to world cup heroes, but this is excellent news, and really puts both Ashington and the Northumberland Line on the map. This one had nothing to do with SENRUG (though I did give a BBC Radio Newcastle interview about it during the voting period) but massive congratulations to the team who put the nomination forward and marshalled us all to get voting.
