Bishop Calls For Longer Trains

I am deeply grateful to the Bishop of Newcastle (actually my boss, since I work for the Diocese, although I’m not sure if the Bishop is aware she has the Chair of the Campaign Group that successfully lobbied for the Northumberland Line in her team) for speaking out in the House of Lords about the need for longer trains for the Northumberland Line. The previous day, at the Blyth Bebside opening ceremony, Deputy Leader of Northumberland Council Richard Wearmouth announced that some additional coaches had been secured to lengthen the busiest trains, though it still won’t be 4 coaches for every single train for the moment. See the Bishop’s question here or for a slightly longer excerpt with reply here
