SENRUG&#8217;s response included re-opening the Ashington Blyth &amp; Tyne Line plus a small paragraph saying the early phases of Network Rail&#8217;s GRIP process for appraising new rail schemes is too lengthy, complex and expensive and is a hindrance to the development of rail projects.
