Returning to Cramlington after a trip to Manchester, the following photo shows what the CIS at Cramlington&#8217;s southbound station was showing. The 3 further evening trains after the 17:57 have disappeared, as have all tomorrow morning&#8217;s trains. No engineering works as far as I&#8217;m aware. Certainly no posters to that effect on the station or reference to replacement busses.
