Although in the end, it seemed like I only got 30 seconds or so on ait, making the 1 hour round trip to the BBC Studio hard to justify. And it appears Licence Payer&#8217;s money doesn&#8217;t run to fixing the BBC&#8217;s coffee machine in the waiting area outside the studio which has been out of order every time I&#8217;ve visited for the last couple of years, which is not fun after a 6.30 am start. So next time I think I&#8217;ll go for the telephone interview instead.
