I&#8217;m grateful to her for making the time. We ran through SENRUG&#8217;s campaigns, focussing of course on those that effect Cramlington, the need to get more trains at the station and proper bus integration. We also discussed our campaign for a rail \/ metro interchange station at Benton East, coupled with the Blyth Town Centre &#8211; Airport link that would result in direct Metro services from Benton East to the airport. Hoping this will be the start of a strong and constructive relationship, working together to promote better use of rail and better rail services in this region.
