Guy Renner-Thompson (Conservative),\u00a0Andrew Gray (Green),\u00a0Jamie Driscoll (an Independent candidate and the sitting Mayor), Thom Campion speaking on behalf of Aidan King (Liberal-Democrat), and\u00a0Paul Donaghy (Reform UK) all set out their vision for public transport in the North East, and what they would do if elected. There was then a lively time of questions from the floor, which the candidates were then giving opportunity to answer. Excellent turn-out with just under 60 people present.
