Now construction work can start in earnest, though the final funding announcement is still awaited. Additionally, I was particularly pleased to note the Northumberland County Council <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northumberland.gov.uk\/News\/2022\/Jun\/Council-welcomes-approval-for-rail-line-milestone.aspx\">Press Release<\/a> continues to confirms December 2023 as expected opening date.
